Why a second term for Ruto is inevitable

I make no secret of the fact that I support the government. That is precisely why I remain fully committed to ensuring that VAR builds a constructive relationship with Kenyans through facts, accountability, and objective analysis of government performance.

Our position is simple: we must evaluate the government based on what it has done, what it is doing, and what it intends to do for the people, rather than oppose it for the sake of opposition. Kenya cannot move forward through endless negativity or political agendas that risk pushing the country toward instability and anarchy.

The government led by President has demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of citizens through the provision of essential services, restructuring the country's debt obligations, strengthening fiscal discipline, stabilizing the economy, and working towards a tax regime that is more sustainable for ordinary Kenyans. These are issues that deserve honest scrutiny and recognition where progress is evident.

Furthermore, I support efforts aimed at ending the politics of tribalism that have for decades divided our nation. Kenya's future must be founded on merit, inclusion, and national unity rather than ethnic mobilization and political division.

In the same spirit, we support the President's commitment to ensuring that development reaches every corner of the country. Every Kenyan pays taxes and deserves access to development regardless of how they voted during elections. Roads, schools, hospitals, water projects, electricity, and economic opportunities should not be determined by political affiliation but by the needs of the people.
